Job Summary :

i-exceed is seeking an experienced and passionate UI/UX Lead / Manager with 812 years of proven experience to drive design excellence within our growing team in Bangalore.

This leader will define and execute the UI/UX strategy across multiple projects, with a strong focus on creating seamless, intuitive digital experiences, particularly in the banking and fintech space.

The role requires expertise in Figma and Design Systems, strong leadership, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Design Leadership :

- Lead and drive the comprehensive UI/UX strategy across multiple parallel projects, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

- Translate abstract business goals into intuitive, user-friendly experiences that solve complex user and industry problems.

- Proactively mentor, guide, and develop junior design team members to consistently deliver high-quality, impactful design outputs.

Design Systems and Execution :

- Build, manage, and evolve scalable Design Systems to ensure technical consistency, efficiency, and speed across all digital products.

- Drive the design process from concept to final visual assets, creating detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

- Utilize expert proficiency in standard design tools, including Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Collaboration and Project Delivery :

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and key business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

- Ensure smooth design-to-development handoffs, providing necessary specifications and assets for impactful and accurate implementation.

- Apply a good understanding of agile workflows and the complete design-to-deployment lifecycle.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 8 to 12 years of proven, hands-on UI/UX experience in the digital product space.

- Leadership : Demonstrated strong leadership skills in guiding design strategy and mentoring team members.

- Design Tools (Mandatory) : Expertise in Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration.

- Architecture (Mandatory) : Mandatory strong experience in building and managing Design Systems for consistency and scalability.

- Soft Skills : Proven strong client communication and project management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience designing digital products specifically for the banking and fintech industry.

- Experience with user research methodologies and incorporating user feedback into design iterations.

- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better facilitate design-to-development handoffs
