Hyperion Essbase Developer

Description :

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Hyperion Essbase applications for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Configure and implement Oracle Hyperion EPM Suite components to meet business requirements.

- Create and optimize Essbase cubes, calculation scripts, load rules, and reports.

- Work closely with business users to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Support data integration and automation between source systems and EPM applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, data validation, and metadata management.

- Perform upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning of Essbase applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and data teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.

- Maintain documentation for design, processes, and configurations.

Required Skills & Competencies :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Hyperion EPM and Essbase development.

- Strong expertise in Essbase cube design, calculation scripts, data forms, and reporting.

- Proficiency in EPM Automate, Smart View, and Hyperion Planning modules.

- Experience with data integration tools (FDMEE, ODI, or equivalent).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Exposure to financial processes such as planning, forecasting, and consolidation will be an added advantage.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

- Oracle Hyperion certifications will be an added advantage.
