Job Role/Title : Hyper-V System Test Engineer

Experience Range : 4- 6 Years

Job Description :

- Plan, develop, execute, monitor, improve, and maintain manual and automated test cases.

- Identify, document defects and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.

- Hands-on experience in setting up test Infrastructure in virtual environments like Hyper-V.

- Works with product development teams throughout the product development life cycle to ensure software quality requirements and goals are established and met.

- Increase product automated test coverage and improve the release quality across multiple test environments.

- Lead troubleshooting of issues in QA environment

- Deep knowledge of Hyper-V Virtualization.

- Proficiency in using tools like Hyper-V Manager, Failover Cluster Manager.

- Skills to test and validate the performance of virtual machines under different workloads.

- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify, diagnose, and report defects.

- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools to track and report defects.

- Understanding of the Windows operating system and Active Directory (AD).

- Strong knowledge of core networking protocols.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python/ PowerShell (Beginner/intermediate level)
