Position Overview :

We are actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Hybris Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level eCommerce solutions. This role requires a hands-on technologist with leadership capabilities, capable of guiding development teams, delivering complex integrations, and optimizing system performance across B2B and B2C domains.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and contribute to full-cycle implementations including design, development, testing, and deployment for B2C and/or B2B eCommerce solutions.

- Manage the upgrade and migration of SAP Commerce environments, ensuring minimal downtime and performance disruption.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, enabling seamless communication with ERP, CRM, PIM systems, and payment gateways.

- Drive code quality through regular code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.

- Analyze production issues, troubleshoot root causes, and implement reliable fixes promptly.

- Collaborate with DevOps for automating builds, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD deployments.

- Enforce compliance with secure coding practices, performance standards, and Agile methodologies.

Technical Skills & Expertise :

Must-Have :

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (including Core, MVC, and Security), and J2EE technologies.

- Expertise in Hybris-specific components such as :

a. Core Platform Architecture

b. Backoffice & Product Content Management (PCM)

c. WCMS and SmartEdit

d. Solr for Search and Indexing

e. CronJobs, Impex/Hotfolder data imports

f. OCC APIs and custom API development

- Solid understanding of database systems like MySQL, Oracle, or SAP HANA, including schema design and performance tuning.

- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and build automation using Maven.

- Hands-on with deployment automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred).

- Working knowledge of SEO principles and how they influence site architecture and content structuring.

Good to Have :

- Experience in integrating with SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP Cloud Platform).

- Familiarity with container orchestration and cloud platforms is a plus.

- Background in Agile/Scrum environments with exposure to iterative development processes.
