About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Scientist with strong proficiency in Python and/or R to join our data science team.

You will leverage advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to extract actionable insights from complex datasets and drive data-informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms using Python and/or R to solve complex business problems.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and feature engineering on large and diverse datasets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.

- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows to automate data processing and model deployment.

- Visualize data and model outputs using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, ggplot2, or interactive dashboards (e.g., Plotly, Shiny, Tableau).

- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Stay current with the latest data science techniques, algorithms, and best practices.

- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building a data-driven culture.

Requirements :

Experience :

- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar analytical role.

- Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models using Python and/or R.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, etc.) and/or R (tidyverse, caret, randomForest, etc.)

- Strong background in statistics, mathematics, and data mining techniques.

- Experience with SQL and working with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.

- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop is advantageous.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
