Role Overview :

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud-based infrastructure while also contributing to our DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud technologies, security protocols, and hands-on experience with DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain security measures to safeguard our cloud infrastructure.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices throughout the

development and deployment lifecycle.

- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating the deployment and testing of applications.

- Work closely with development teams to streamline the development and release processes.

- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Collaborate with operations and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the development, test, and production environments.

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and cost

effectiveness.

- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Work closely with the IT security team to align cloud security measures with organizational policies and standards.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on security and DevOps.

- Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.

- In-depth knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures ina cloud environment.

- Proficient with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and version control.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automaton.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.

- Certification such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.
