Hubspot CMS Developer

About the Role :

The role requires expertise in HubL, custom module and theme development, GitHub- driven workflows, and a strong focus on security and performance optimization.

You will be part of a collaborative team environment working closely with stakeholders across marketing, design, and technology teams, both at Prodigy and at the client side.

Must have Skills :

- 6 to 8 years of professional web development experience, with at least 3+ years of specialized experience in HubSpot CMS development.

- Advanced proficiency in HubL (HubSpot Markup Language), HubSpot Design Tools, and Custom Module/Theme Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot CLI, Git, and GitHub Actions for local development and automated deployments.

- Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON.

- Proven expertise in implementing secure web development practices following OWASP guidelines.

- Excellent communication skillsability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Alpine.js for dynamic module development.

- Understanding of SEO best practices, Google Lighthouse performance standards, and Core Web Vitals optimization.

- Previous experience working with Fortune 500 / enterprise-level clients.

- Also Wordpress skills.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain custom HubSpot themes, modules, and templates using HubL, HTML5, CSS3,

and JavaScript.

- Lead the setup and management of local HubSpot development environments using HubSpot CLI, Git, and GitHub Actions.

- Implement and champion secure coding practices, access control, data sanitization, and vulnerability mitigation for all HubSpot-based solutions.

- Optimize web assets for speed, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and WCAG-compliant accessibility.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, SEO specialists, and backend teams to build user- focused, conversion optimized web experiences.

- Participate in code reviews, enforce version control standards, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

- Stay on top of evolving HubSpot CMS features, HubL updates, and web development trends to suggest and implement best practices.

- Provide production support, perform troubleshooting, and assist with HubSpot platform upgrades and migrations
