Role : HRSD Design Lead

Experience : 6 to 8 Years

Location : PAN India (Remote/Hybrid/Onsite depending on project/client)

Job Type : Full-time / Contract

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days preferred

Role Overview :


We are seeking an experienced HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) Design Lead to lead the design and implementation of HRSD modules, primarily on platforms such as ServiceNow. The candidate will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of HR service delivery processes, workflows, and system configurations, ensuring alignment with business needs and HR transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design and solution architecture of HRSD implementations, particularly on platforms like ServiceNow HRSD.

- Collaborate with HR stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define and refine HR service delivery models and workflows.

- Translate HR requirements into technical solutions including :

- Case and Knowledge Management

- Employee Service Center (ESC)

- Lifecycle Events (Onboarding/Offboarding)

- Document Management

- HR Chatbot and Virtual Agent

- Design intuitive, scalable, and integrated user experiences for employees and HR agents.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during configuration and customization.

- Ensure best practices, data privacy/security compliance (e.g., GDPR), and system scalability.

- Manage HRSD configuration activities such as business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies/actions, etc.

- Act as SME and reviewer for key project deliverables including solution designs, technical documentation, and test plans.

Technical Skills Required :

- 6 to 8 years of overall experience with minimum 3+ years in ServiceNow HRSD module implementation.

- Strong understanding of HR processes and service delivery models.

- Experience in implementing and customizing ServiceNow HR modules.

- Solid experience with JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, HTML/CSS, and JSON/XML.

- Familiarity with platform architecture, data modeling, and integrations with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).

- Experience in HR Portal/ESC design and user experience best practices.

- Hands-on experience with HR lifecycle events, case templates, topic pages, and service catalogs.

Certifications Preferred :

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist HRSD (strongly preferred)

- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation

- Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe) a plus

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to lead design workshops and conduct requirement-gathering sessions

- Strong documentation and presentation skills

- Problem-solving mindset with an eye for process improvement

- Ability to mentor junior developers or analysts
