Job Summary :
The HRMS Payroll Tech Consultant will play a central role in designing, implementing, and supporting advanced payroll solutions for clients across multiple locations.
This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on expertise across all payroll modules, and deep proficiency with integrations, customizations, and payroll process optimization.
The successful candidate will drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance for mission-critical payroll operations in high-impact environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and support comprehensive HRMS Payroll solutions, ensuring seamless operation across global and multi-location deployments.
- Lead end-to-end payroll processes, including payroll data processing, costing, prepayment, and compliance management.
- Develop, customize, and maintain system extensions, reports, interfaces, and conversions to meet unique business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (HR, Finance, and IT) to gather, analyze, and translate payroll and HRMS requirements into functional solutions.
- Optimize payroll workflows and systems for scalability, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot payroll-related issues, provide expert guidance in solution design, and ensure timely resolution of incidents and defects.
- Manage and support integrations with third-party and internal applications to create a robust payroll ecosystem.
- Prepare and deliver key documentation, user training, and ongoing support to end-users across functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Must-Have :
- 8 to 10 years experience implementing and supporting HRMS Payroll solutions in enterprise environments.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in payroll module integrations, conversions, customizations, extensions, and personalizations.
- Proven proficiency in PL/SQL, FastFormula, Workflow development, Report building, and managing Interfaces.
- Knowledgeable in Absence Management, Talent Management, Payroll Processing, Costing, and Prepayment functionalities.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex payroll and HRMS challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and end-users.
- Available to join within 015 days of offer acceptance.
Nice-to-Have :
- Experience working with unionized or large multi-entity payroll systems.
- Exposure to supporting payroll operations across compliance-heavy geographies.
- Prior experience with cloud-based HRMS platforms or payroll SaaS implementations.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and documentation best practices.
