Role Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

- Create hardware BOMs and coordinate with vendors for procurement and release activities.

- Configure Linux-based operating systems tailored for HPC environments.

- Define subsystem-level specifications and meet project performance timelines.

- Assist with the design and release of new systems, including creation of golden images, deployment scripts, and documentation.

- Collaborate with manufacturing and support teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of HPC solutions.

- Monitor and manage system performance and reliability, ensuring cost efficiency.

Mandatory Requirements :

- HPC systems and cluster management

- Linux OS administration (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu)

- HPC hardware components (servers, GPUs, storage, networking, BIOS/BMC)

- TCP/IP fundamentals and networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP)

- Proficiency in shell scripting and Python

- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Salt, Chef, Puppet)

- Knowledge of System-D, PXE boot/net boot, and Linux HA

Educational Qualification :

- Diploma, BCA, and BSc (3-year programs) are not eligible

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git-based repos)

- Experience with containerization tools like Docker, Singularity

- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana

- Understanding of web/application infrastructure like Apache/Nginx, reverse proxy setup, HA Proxy, etc.

Soft Skills & Competencies :

- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

- Proven adaptability to change in fast-paced environments.

- Clear, concise verbal and written communication.
