Key Responsibilities :
- Proven ability to manage a team of deployment engineers across multiple release cycles.
- Ability to establish and implement standardized deployment and release processes including branch creation, build management, CI, deployment checklists, runbooks, and monitoring.
- To efficiently manage multiple release cycles with concurrent development and patch releases.
- To interface with infrastructure, application, database, and business teams to coordinate software releases by adopting best practices around version control, environment management (dev, QA, UAT, SIT, pre-prod, and prod).
- Closely work with development, QA, product, and business owner teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of builds and releases across various platforms and environments.
- Handle tickets, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance on a daily basis.
- Multitasking skills with strong organizational abilities and self-motivation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, intuitive, analytical, and leadership skills for independent and team-based work environments.
Requirements :
Mandatory Skills :
- In-depth understanding of software configuration management principles and best practices in Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, disaster recovery, fine-tuning on Red Hat/AWS Linux Systems.
- Proficiency in working with version control systems like GIT and source code management tools like Git Bash, GitHub, and GitLab command line applications.
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD integration using Go for continuous integration and end-to-end automation for all builds and deployments.
- Experience in working with XML, BASH shell scripts, Ruby scripts, Perl scripts, PowerShell scripts, and Java scripts.
- Experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Wildfly, Apache Tomcat, NGINX, and RabbitMQ.
- Experience in troubleshooting Java-based services, including memory settings, connection pool settings, log levels, log extraction, and configuration.
- Experience in working with tracking tools like JIRA, RedMine, and Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with routed protocols : FTP, SFTP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, and Connect direct.
- Experience in release and deployment in Java/J2EE, Android, iOS, web applications environments.
- Extensive experience using MAVEN for building deployable artifacts from source code.
- Experience in managing artifacts using Nexus repository.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and HTTP connections.
- Integration of Maven/Nexus, Jenkins, Git, Confluence, and Jira
