Hotfoot - Artificial Intelligence Engineer - NLP/Computer Vision

Job Summary :

We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer with expertise in NLP and Computer Vision to join our team at Hotfoot Technology Solutions Private Limited.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and programming languages like Python.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement machine learning and deep learning models for classification, regression, clustering, recommendation, etc.

- Build end-to-end AI pipelines from data ingestion and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.

- Develop NLP applications such as text classification, named entity recognition, summarization, and chatbot engines.

- Work with libraries like spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, or NLTK to extract insights from unstructured text data.

- Implement image classification, object detection, OCR, and facial recognition systems using frameworks like OpenCV and PyTorch/TensorFlow.

- Preprocess and analyze large datasets using efficient data pipelines.

- Integrate AI models with APIs, cloud platforms, and production systems.

- Tune hyperparameters, evaluate performance, and optimize models for scalability and accuracy.

- Use A/B testing and monitoring frameworks to measure model impact.

Requirements :

- Proficiency in Python (must-have); experience with R, Java, or C++ is a plus.

- Hands-on experience with Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, or similar frameworks.

- Understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.

- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras for building and training neural networks.

- Knowledge of CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and GANs.

- Practical knowledge of spaCy, Transformers (Hugging Face), BERT/GPT, NLTK, or Gensim.

- Experience with OpenCV, YOLO, Detectron2, or similar tools.

- Strong command of Pandas, NumPy, SQL.

- Familiarity with AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform, or on-prem AI infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Masters degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields.

- Experience deploying models to production using FastAPI, Flask, or Streamlit.

- Exposure to MLOps, model monitoring, and explainability tools like SHAP or LIME.

- Knowledge of vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

- Familiarity with graph neural networks (GNNs) or time-series modeling is a plus.
