Job Description

Job Title : QA Associate


Job Responsibilities :


- Test functionality and review visual elements of small- and large-scale interactive deliverables.


- Document and facilitate communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs, and change requests.


- Validate and close out all issues prior to client delivery.


- Collaborate with other QA staff to accomplish daily QA tasks on time and with high quality.


- Develop processes to ensure the highest level of quality assurance possible.


- Investigate procedures, workflows, and tools to keep QA processes up to date.


- Assist with internal project kickoffs and requirements/specifications gathering.


- Plan and document the testing effort through test plans and test cases for mid-level to larger-scale projects.


- Demonstrate the ability to creatively and proactively solve problems.


- Work on web-based interactive projects and mobile applications.


- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


- Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


- Communicate clearly with strong written and verbal skills.


Technical Requirements :


- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various testing methodologies (Functional, Regression, Smoke, System, Integration, UAT).


- Hands-on experience with writing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.


- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.


- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics) and the ability to inspect elements using browser developer tools.


- Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS (using real devices and emulators).


- Familiarity with cross-browser testing and responsive design validation.


- Ability to perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger (basic validation of request/response, status codes, payloads).


- Understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation.


- Basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git is a plus.


- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.


- Awareness of accessibility standards and usability best practices is an advantage.


- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium) is a plus, even if not required.
