Role Overview :

As a Software Engineer II at Hinge Health India Private Limited, based in Bangalore, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our next-generation platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop and deploy features that directly impact the lives of our members. Your focus will be on building robust and scalable backend services, with opportunities to contribute to the integration of Agentic AI to enhance our personalized care programs. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to a product that is making a real difference in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript to support Hinge Health's digital health platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that improve the member experience and drive business outcomes.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code to ensure the quality and maintainability of our codebase.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with other engineers.

- Contribute to the development and integration of Agentic AI capabilities to personalize and optimize member care.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure the stability and availability of our platform.

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to continuously improve our team's performance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

- Proven ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Experience with Agentic AI concepts and frameworks is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
