Job Summary :

HighRadius is seeking a seasoned Senior Java Architect to lead enterprise application architecture, technical strategy, and the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Java technologies, distributed application design, cloud infrastructure, and architectural governance, along with the ability to drive complex technical initiatives across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and drive end-to-end technical architecture for complex enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business strategy, product objectives, and long-term technology roadmaps.

- Lead architectural discovery, requirement analysis, technology evaluation, and solution design for large-scale systems.

- Define and govern HLD, LLD, application design standards, architectural patterns, and reusable technical frameworks.

- Drive the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related technologies.

- Evaluate architectural alternatives and make critical technology decisions based on scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and business impact.

- Establish engineering best practices, architecture review processes, and technical governance across development teams.

- Lead application performance engineering, capacity planning, benchmarking, bottleneck analysis, and optimization initiatives.

- Design scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS infrastructure, incorporating cloud security and reliability best practices.

- Oversee application architecture involving MySQL, Elasticsearch, ExtJS, and legacy technologies such as Struts, ensuring effective integration and modernization where required.

- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, system limitations, and opportunities to improve development efficiency and operational reliability.

- Drive technology selection and evaluate frameworks, tools, and platforms against product and business requirements.

- Collaborate with product leadership, engineering managers, and business stakeholders to convert strategic requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement.

- Ensure architecture decisions support long-term scalability, maintainability, security, and evolving business requirements.

Required Technical Skills :

- Extensive experience in Java-based enterprise application architecture and development.

- Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Struts.

- Advanced knowledge of HLD, LLD, application design, architectural patterns, and system-level problem-solving.

- Strong experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and enterprise application integration.

- Knowledge of ExtJS and legacy application architectures.

- Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure, cloud architecture, and cloud security.

- Proven expertise in performance optimization, scalability engineering, reliability, and capacity planning.

- Experience defining architectural standards, reviewing complex technical designs, and driving technology selection.

- Ability to assess and improve existing application architectures while designing solutions for future growth.
