HighRadius - Engineering Manager - Java/Spring Boot

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead high-performing product engineering teams building scalable, cloud-native SaaS solutions for enterprise finance and automation platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java technologies, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms, along with a proven track record of managing engineering teams and delivering enterprise-grade products. The role requires balancing technical leadership, people management, product execution, and architectural decision-making to support business growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Engineering Leadership :

- Lead and mentor teams of 10-25 software engineers, technical leads, and senior developers.

- Drive engineering excellence through best practices, code quality, design reviews, and technical governance.

- Build a high-performance and innovation-driven engineering culture.

- Manage hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development.

2. Product & Delivery Ownership :

- Partner with Product Management, Architects, and Business Stakeholders to define product roadmaps.

- Drive end-to-end delivery of enterprise SaaS products.

- Ensure predictable execution, release management, and delivery commitments.

- Manage project risks, dependencies, and resource planning.

3. Technical Leadership :

- Design and build highly scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

- Lead architecture discussions around microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications.

- Drive modernization initiatives, platform scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.

- Guide implementation of secure and compliant enterprise applications.

4. Operational Excellence :

- Establish engineering metrics and KPIs.

- Improve system availability, monitoring, observability, and incident response.

- Promote DevOps and CI/CD adoption.

- Ensure production reliability and operational efficiency.

Leadership Requirements :

- 5+ years of people management experience.

Preferred Experience :

- Experience building enterprise SaaS products.

- Exposure to FinTech, ERP, Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, or Finance Automation platforms.

- Experience developing AI/ML-enabled business applications.

- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite integrations.

- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 10-15 years of software engineering experience.

- Strong background in enterprise product development.

- Proven success in delivering large-scale, customer-facing platforms.
