About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java-based application architecture, AWS, microservices, APIs, distributed systems, cloud security, scalability and Generative AI technologies.

The role involves defining end-to-end solution architecture, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs, and providing architectural guidance to engineering, cloud, security, data and product teams.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Define end-to-end architecture for cloud-native and AI-enabled enterprise applications.

- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, resilient and maintainable solution designs.

- Create and maintain solution architecture documents, component diagrams, data flows, integration designs and Architecture Decision Records.

- Design solutions based on microservices, APIs, event-driven systems and enterprise integration patterns.

- Architect AI solutions using Large Language Models, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search and agentic workflows.

- Evaluate cloud services, AI models, platforms, frameworks and integration approaches.

- Ensure architecture meets requirements around security, privacy, performance, availability, observability, compliance and cost optimisation.

- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to engineering, cloud, security, data and product teams.

- Establish reusable architecture patterns, standards, guardrails and engineering best practices.

- Guide teams through the complete product and application development lifecycle.

Technical Requirements :

- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, application development or solution delivery.

- Significant experience as a Solution Architect / Technical Architect / Application Architect.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of Java and good working knowledge of Python.

- Strong experience designing cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.

- Strong understanding of Microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architecture and SaaS applications.

- Experience designing highly scalable, secure, resilient and highly available applications.

- Strong understanding of Cloud Native Architecture and Twelve-Factor App principles.

- Knowledge of CI/CD, Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices.

- Good understanding of Generative AI technologies including Large Language Models, RAG, Embeddings, Vector Databases, Semantic Search and AI Agents.

- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, data privacy, observability, performance and cost optimisation.

- Experience creating architecture diagrams, solution design documents, technology evaluations and Architecture Decision Records.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
