Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Test Engineer to lead quality assurance strategy, test planning, and execution across complex applications and platforms.

This role combines hands-on testing expertise with technical leadership, driving quality standards, mentoring teams, and ensuring delivery of reliable, high-quality software products.

The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement test strategies, standards, and best practices across projects

- Own end-to-end quality assurance for multiple applications or releases

- Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms

- Lead test planning, estimation, and scheduling activities

- Oversee functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and performance testing

- Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements

- Drive test automation strategy and framework design

- Review and guide automation scripts for UI, API, and backend testing

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

- Lead, mentor, and coach test engineers and QA leads

- Conduct code reviews, performance evaluations, and skill development plans

- Foster a quality-first mindset across teams

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Partner with development, product, and DevOps teams to resolve defects early

- Participate in design and architecture reviews to ensure testability

- Communicate quality risks, release readiness, and test status to stakeholders

- Analyze defect trends and root causes

- Drive process improvements to enhance test efficiency and product quality

- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and testing methodologies

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 8-10+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering

- Proven experience in a Lead / Senior QA / Test Lead role

- Strong hands-on experience in manual and automated testing

- In-depth understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
