We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem to design and develop advanced software solutions.

This role involves working across SDK development, Windows applications, cross-platform applications using .NET MAUI, and hardware integrations. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in system-level programming, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to independently drive features while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The candidate should also be comfortable leveraging modern engineering practices such as AI-assisted development and spec-driven development.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead architecture and design of complex systems spanning drivers, SDKs, Windows applications, and MAUI-based cross-platform applications.

- Drive development of scalable, high-performance applications using C# and .NET technologies.

- Architect and deliver cross-platform applications using .NET MAUI with a strong focus on performance and usability.

- Oversee development and integration of Windows drivers (UMDF/KMDF) and hardware communication layers.

- Design, build, and maintain robust SDKs and APIs for internal and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to enable seamless device integration across platforms.

- Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through strong engineering practices.

- Establish and enforce coding standards, design guidelines, and secure development practices.

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams.

- Drive technical decision-making and contribute to product and engineering roadmaps.

- Work closely with product, QA, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Modern Engineering Expectations :

- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.

- Promote and implement spec-driven development practices across teams.

- Leverage context-aware development approaches to improve engineering efficiency and code quality.

- Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging tools, frameworks, and development practices.

Required Technical Requirements : (Good to have) :

- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (Core and/or Framework).

- Experience in Windows application development (WinForms, WPF, or WinUI).

- Hands-on experience with .NET MAUI for cross-platform application development.

- Experience in developing SDKs, APIs, or reusable libraries.

- Knowledge of hardware communication protocols such as USB, UART, I2C, SPI, HID, and CCID.

- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

- Good understanding of object-oriented design and system architecture.

Education and/or Experience :

- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred.

- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, with significant exposure to system-level development, MAUI-based application development, and hardware-integrated solutions.
