Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, SDET to join our ALI Business Unit. In this role, you will be a key member of a passionate engineering team, owning the quality strategy and execution for complex software products.

You will drive automation, ensure robust test coverage, uphold QA best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.

This position requires strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, SDET, you will be responsible for:

- Taking ownership of product quality and ensuring comprehensive test coverage across modules and features.

- Designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality automation test scripts for new and existing functionality.

- Ensuring strong automation coverage and continually expanding automated regression suites.

- Creating and reviewing detailed test plans, scenarios, and strategies to validate software releases.

- Ensuring QA processes, standards, and best practices are strictly followed within the team.

- Analyzing data, interpreting test results, and communicating findings clearly across various levels of the ALI organization.

- Collaborating closely with internal customers including software developers, product owners, documentation teams, and planning groups.

- Solving complex quality-related challenges through strong analytical and logical problem-solving capabilities.

- Conducting technical presentations, participating in technical workshops, and delivering training sessions as needed.

- Continuously contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency through Agile methodologies.

Education / Qualifications :

- B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech in any Engineering discipline with a strong academic background.

- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, testing principles, and QA practices.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
