Hexagon - Senior Software Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Responsibilities :

- Review requirements, specifications, and functional design documents to ensure clarity and alignment with business needs. Also, necessary feedback to be provided as required

- Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.

- Design, develop, execute and maintain automation scripts using relevant tools and frameworks

- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using bug tracking systems

- Follow testing process as defined by the Quality Management System

- Collaboration with internal and global teams (e.g., developers & product owner) to identify testing requirements

Education / Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science / related discipline is required.

Required Qualifications :

- 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing, covering both manual and automated testing processes.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with modern test automation tools such as Playwright/any relevant tools.

- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills (both verbal and written).

- Proven ability to manage multiple testing activities, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results within tight project timelines.

- Demonstrated adaptability to evolving technologies, project scopes, and testing methodologies, with a continuous learning mindset to stay current in the field

Desired Qualifications :

- Public Safety experience is desirable.

- Familiar with Agile Scrum Methodology

- Applied knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and SQL scripting
