Hexagon - Azure Developer - Cloud Native Apps

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Azure Developer with 35 years of hands-on experience in building, deploying, and optimizing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong development skills, deep understanding of Azure services, and experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions.

You will work closely with architects, backend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to build cloud applications, APIs, integrations, and automation using Azure technologies.

- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.

- Build and maintain Azure Functions, Web Apps, Logic Apps, API Management (APIM), and serverless

workflows.

- Implement and optimize Azure storage solutions including Blob Storage, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault.

- Develop and consume REST APIs, microservices, and integrations using Azure services.

- Build automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for deployment, version control, and release

management.

- Work with Azure Identity & Access Management (IAM), RBAC, and secure cloud design principles.

- Monitor services using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and implement performance tuning.

- Collaborate with the architecture team to propose scalable and cost-optimized solutions.

- Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.

- Troubleshoot cloud services, deployments, and application issues across environments.

- Contribute to technical documentation, design specs, and system diagrams.

- 35 years of hands-on development experience in cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.

- Strong programming experience in C#, .NET Core, or Node.js/Python (depending on stack).

Practical experience with Azure services like:

- Azure Functions

- Azure App Service / Web Apps

- Azure Logic Apps

- Azure API Management

- Azure Service Bus / Event Grid

- Azure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table)

- Azure SQL / Cosmos DB

- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, ARM/Bicep).

- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, RBAC, and governance practices.

- Experience with API development, microservices, and REST architecture.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-900, AZ-305)

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS)

- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture

- Knowledge of DevOps, monitoring, and automation best practices

- Experience with secure coding, API security, OAuth, JWT
