Hella - IT Storage Administrator - Patch Management

YOUR TASKS :

- We are seeking an experienced IT Storage Administrator with advanced expertise in DELL PowerScale systems and NetApp environments.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our storage infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Knowledge of IBM infrastructure is a plus but not mandatory.

- Storage Management: Design, configure, and manage DELL PowerScale and NetApp storage systems to meet the organization's data storage needs.

- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize the performance of storage systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.

- Data Protection: Implement and manage data protection solutions, including backups, snapshots, and replication.

- Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate storage resources are available.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve storage-related issues, providing timely support to minimize downtime.

- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of storage configurations, processes, and procedures.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate storage solutions with other infrastructure components.

- Compliance: Ensure storage systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Adhering to SLAs defined by the business/client.

- Optional: Provide support and expertise in IBM storage infrastructure as needed.

Your Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in storage administration, with a focus on DELL PowerScale and NetApp environments.

- Proficiency in storage management tools and monitoring software; Understanding of networking fundamentals related to storage.

- Possess in-depth Knowledge on ITIL processes like Incident management, Problem Management, configuration management and Change Management processes.

- Service Now experience preferred.

- Hands-on experience with Storage OS patching/upgrade, firmware upgrades, troubleshooting and rolling back; deep knowledge in Storage RAID technologies and configs (striping, mirroring and parity).

- Extensive knowledge in Storage protocols: NAS (NFS/SMB/CIFS) and SAN (FCP, iSCSI, FCoE, NVMe-oF)

- Experience with Storage third-party support, following and escalating topics when needed according to priority and criticality.

- Familiarity with data protection technologies such as SnapMirror, Snapshot, SyncIQ, and SnapshotIQ.

- Optional: Knowledge of IBM storage infrastructure and related technologies.
