Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET 1)

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET 1) to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in functional testing and QA processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. This role involves designing test cases, automating UI and API testing, and contributing to the overall test strategy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Establish and optimize QA processes for improved test efficiency.

- Perform UI automation using Selenium/Playwright and API testing using Rest Assured.

- Implement mobile automation using Appium for testing mobile applications.

- Conduct performance testing using JMeter (nice to have).

- Collaborate with development teams to improve test coverage and maintain high standards of quality.

- Analyze test results, debug issues, and work with engineers to resolve defects.

- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for reliability and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of QA processes and test case design.

- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

- Proficiency in Java/Python (at least one).

- Experience in UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.

- API testing expertise using Rest Assured.

- Mobile testing experience with Appium.

- Experience in performance testing using JMeter. (nice to have)

- Knowledge of CI/CD and automation frameworks.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
