Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of SAP Center of Excellence to lead the transformation, stabilization, and modernization of our global SAP landscape. This is a strategic leadership role requiring a combination of deep SAP expertise, strong technical architecture knowledge, and proven experience building and leading SAP Centers of Excellence within large multinational organizations.

The role is in Pune - India.

Key Profile Requirements :

SAP Leadership & Transformation Experience :

- 15+ years of SAP leadership experience within complex multinational environments.

- Proven track record leading SAP COEs and SAP transformation programs.

- Hands-on experience managing or leading full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations and large-scale SAP programs.

- Ability to define and execute SAP strategy aligned with business transformation objectives.

- Experience working closely with executive stakeholders and leading enterprise-wide SAP initiatives.

SAP COE Build-Out & Governance :

- Demonstrated experience establishing, restructuring, or scaling SAP Centers of Excellence.

- Ability to design and implement world-class governance frameworks, operating models, release management, change control, KPIs, and best-practice processes.

- Experience creating SAP portfolio roadmaps, financial governance models, and long-term transformation strategies.

- Strong understanding of SAP Solution Manager, Focused Build, ITIL, DevOps, and SAP governance disciplines.

Technical & Architectural Expertise :

- Deep expertise across SAP S/4HANA and major functional modules including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, and related SAP solutions.

- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, solution design, SAP Basis, integrations, cloud environments, security, and development platforms.

- Ability to manage highly customized SAP environments and drive standardization initiatives.

- Experience overseeing capacity planning, environments, licenses, infrastructure, integrations, and technical roadmaps.

- Strong exposure to SAP Integration Suite, CPI, API Management, analytics, BTP, SAC, and emerging SAP technologies.

Technical Debt Remediation & Operational Excellence :

- A major focus of this role will be assessing and stabilizing a complex SAP estate that includes:

1. More than 11,000 SAP customizations.

2. Multiple SAP environments that require synchronization and standardization.

3. Fragmented integration architecture across internal systems, customers, banking platforms, and third parties.

4. Technical debt reduction and implementation of SAP best-practice standards.

5. Establishment of a stable, scalable, and reliable SAP operating environment capable of supporting business transformation.

Team Leadership & Change Management :

- Strong people leadership capabilities with experience leading technical and functional SAP teams.

- Proven ability to build high-performing organizations and recruit SAP talent at scale.

- Experience restructuring teams, driving accountability, and creating collaborative cultures within global matrix organizations.

- High energy, strong executive presence, influence, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Ideal Candidate Background :

- We are particularly interested in candidates currently or previously serving as Head of SAP COE, SAP Program Director, SAP Transformation Director, SAP Delivery Director, SAP Practice Leader, or SAP Technology Director within large global organizations with mature SAP landscapes and significant SAP S/4HANA transformation experience.
