Job Title : Head of IT Security

Reporting to : VP of Engineering

Team Size : 10-15 subordinates

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Head of IT Security to lead and strengthen our information security landscape across technology, infrastructure, and compliance functions. This role will be responsible for building robust security frameworks, driving compliance initiatives, and managing IT support operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

1. IT Security :

- Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide information security strategies.

- Lead threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.

- Manage security tools, monitoring systems, and risk mitigation plans.

- Drive security audits and ensure alignment with best practices.

2. Government Risk & Compliance (GRC) :

- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements (RBI, GDPR, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, SOC2).

- Manage internal/external audits and governance frameworks.

- Establish policies to ensure consistent compliance across the organization.

3. IT Support :

- Lead IT Support operations ensuring smooth functioning across the organization.

- Asset Management : Manage lifecycle of laptops and end-user devices.

- Network/Infra : Oversee WiFi, servers, and infrastructure reliability.

Leadership & Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 professionals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on security needs.

- Manage strategic planning, budgeting, and roadmaps for IT & Security.

Required Background & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in IT Security, Compliance, and IT Support.

- Experience in Fintech (preferred) or strong technology companies.

- Proven people management experience (10+ subordinates).

- Strong expertise in cloud, network, endpoint, and enterprise IT security.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications : CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO Lead Auditor, Cloud Security certifications.

- Experience in high-growth or regulated industries.
