Job Title : Head of IT

Role Overview :

The Head of IT will be responsible for leading the organizations IT strategy, infrastructure, applications, and operations, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions.

This role partners closely with business leaders to enable growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities :

IT Strategy & Leadership :

- Define and execute IT strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Lead and mentor IT, infrastructure, and application teams.

- Act as a key technology advisor to senior leadership.

IT Operations & Infrastructure :

- Oversee day-to-day IT operations including networks, servers, cloud platforms, end-user computing, and IT support.

- Ensure high system availability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Manage IT asset lifecycle and capacity planning.

Applications & Digital Enablement :

- Manage enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRMS, collaboration tools).

- Drive automation and process optimization through technology.

- Oversee application upgrades, integrations, and vendor solutions.

Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance :

- Ensure implementation of IT security controls and cybersecurity best practices.

- Partner with security teams to manage risks, audits, and compliance requirements (ISO, SOX, GDPR, etc.).

- Enforce IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.

Vendor & Budget Management :

- Manage IT budgets, cost optimization, and forecasting.

- Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and SLA management.

- Ensure value realization from IT investments.

Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with business leaders to understand technology needs and priorities.

- Communicate IT initiatives, risks, and performance metrics to leadership.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- 1218 years of experience in IT operations and leadership roles.

- Experience managing enterprise-scale IT environments.

- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, or Cloud certifications are a plus.
