Position Summary :

We're seeking a hands-on Head of Engineering with strong full-stack expertise to lead a team of 12+ engineers. The ideal candidate will bring deep system architecture knowledge and technical leadership skills, with a particular focus on backend excellence while managing full-stack initiatives. Thought leadership on leveraging modern AI technologies to offer Vertical SaaS solutions is a must.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Drive backend architecture, Platform, and system design decisions.

- Lead implementation of critical backend services and APIs.

- Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems

- Optimize system performance and scalability.

- Implement AI-powered solutions leveraging the latest LLM technologies.

- Develop strategies for responsible AI integration within our product ecosystem

- Optimize workflows through AI automation and intelligent processing pipelines.

- Champion code quality and technical best practices. Actively contribute to coding and code reviews.

Team Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of 12+ (frontend and backend engineers) across multiple Product initiatives

- Drive sprint planning and execution

- Foster collaboration between frontend and backend developers

- Balance technical debt with feature development

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions

- Guide team in developing AI competencies and LLM implementation best practices

- Establish governance frameworks for AI tool usage and model evaluation

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

- 12 to 15 years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams

- Strong backend expertise (Node.js, TypeScript, Microservices)

- Experience with modern frontend technologies (React)

- Deep knowledge of database design and optimization

- Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience

- Proven track record building complex distributed systems

- Strong system design and architecture skills

- Demonstrated expertise with AI tools and LLM integration in production environments

- Experience designing and implementing AI-assisted features and workflows

Preferred Experience :

- Prior startup experience with scaling engineering systems

- Knowledge of 3D/CAD systems and spatial data

- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms

- Background in real-time data processing

- Hands-on experience with leading LLM platforms

- Familiarity with AI prompt engineering and optimization techniques

- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and tooling
