Key Responsibilities :

Hands-On Technical Leadership :

- Actively contribute to code, design reviews, architecture decisions, and complex debugging.

- Coach engineers to improve velocity, quality, and problem-solving approaches.

- Strong ability to validate solutions designs, new ideas, and ensure faster iteration cycles.

- Stay deeply familiar with the codebase across ERP and POS to guide teams with practical solutions.

- Proven skills in working with distributed systems by way of APIs webhooks and other industry tandard integration patterns.

- Familiarity with data pipeline using ELT/ETL tools.

Accelerating Development Velocity :

- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in delivery pipelines

- Introduce modern engineering practices to reduce lead times.

- Champion productivity tooling (IDEs, CI/CD optimizations, code quality gates, AI-assisted coding tools).

- Measure and improve engineering throughput using metrics like cycle time, Product Release lead time, and deployment frequency.

Team Enablement & Unblocking :

- Helping unblock critical design, scaling or performance issues.

- Mentor engineers by showing how to solve problems, not just telling them.

- Encourage creative problem-solving and introduce fresh approaches from modern SaaS engineering playbooks.

Strategic & Technical Leadership :

- Define and execute the engineering vision aligned with company's long-term product and business strategy.

- Lead modernization efforts : migration from monoliths to microservices, cloud-native architecture, event / API integrations.

- Ensure enterprise-grade scalability, security, performance, and compliance across all products.

- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams across ERP, POS and Integration platforms.

- Foster a progressive engineering culture based on ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Innovation & Ecosystem :

- Champion AI/ML and data-driven innovation within the company ecosystem.

- Explore emerging technologies (serverless, low-code, event streaming, API economy) for adoption.

- Collaborate with key enterprise customers, marketplace partners, and internal stakeholders to align technical roadmaps.

Ideal Candidate :

- 15 years of engineering experience, with at least 8+ years in senior leadership roles.

- Proficiency in various programming languages (Dot Net, Python, Node), Databases (Postgres, Mongo), frameworks, and tools

- Strong understanding of system architecture principles, design patterns (DDD and CQRS) and best practices.

- Understanding of mobile applications with Flutter.

- Deep experience in cloud-native (Azure) microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), event-driven systems.

- Proven track record of shipping products faster by removing friction in the development lifecycle.

- Strong understanding of both architecture at scale and day-to-day engineering realities.

- Startup-style bias for action, yet with the maturity to run large teams in a structured SaaS environment.
