Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design, migration, and optimization of large-scale cloud solutions on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with cloud architecture, legacy-to-cloud migrations, security, and cost optimization, while working closely with business and engineering stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud solutions

- Lead cloud migration initiatives (re-host, re-platform, re-architect) from on-premises or other clouds to AWS

- Define cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cloud engineers and DevOps teams

- Collaborate with application, security, networking, and data teams to ensure end-to-end solutions

- Implement high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies

- Ensure cloud security and compliance using AWS Well-Architected Framework and security best practices

- Optimize performance and cloud costs using monitoring, automation, and FinOps principles

- Review and approve architecture designs, infrastructure code, and deployment strategies

- Support pre-sales, RFPs, and client workshops when required

Cloud Architecture & Strategy :

- Design and own end-to-end AWS cloud architectures aligned with business and technical requirements

- Define cloud migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-factor, re-architect, retire, retain)

- Establish AWS best practices, standards, and reference architectures

- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on cloud adoption and modernization

Migration Leadership :

- Lead large-scale on-premise to AWS and data center exit initiatives

- Perform application and infrastructure assessments using AWS migration frameworks

- Define migration roadmaps, dependency mapping, and cutover strategies

- Drive use of AWS migration tools such as AWS Migration Hub, Application Discovery Service, DMS, Snowball, and SCT

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture

- Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services :

- Compute : EC2, Auto Scaling, Lambda, ECS/EKS

- Storage : S3, EBS, EFS

- Databases : RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB

- Networking : VPC, Subnets, Route 53, ALB/NLB, Direct Connect, VPN

- Proven experience in large-scale cloud migrations and modernization programs

- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : CloudFormation, Terraform

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)

- Solid understanding of security concepts : IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, WAF, Shield

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray
