About the Role :
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with strong experience in testing healthcare web applications and mobile applications.
The ideal candidate should have solid analytical skills, the ability to understand complex workflows, and a commitment to delivering high-quality releases across both web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify testable scenarios.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans, test cases, checklists, and test data for both web and mobile modules.
- Perform functional, UI/UX, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT testing.
- Test end-to-end workflows such as patient registration, appointments, prescriptions, medical records, orders, reports, notifications, and approval flows.
- Execute mobile app testing (Android/iOS), including installation flows, navigation, gestures, notifications, permission handling, device compatibility, and usability checks.
- Validate role-based access, user permissions, and data accuracy across web and mobile applications.
- Log bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and screen recordings using tools like Jira, or ProofHub.
- Re-test fixes, update test cases, and maintain proper documentation for each release cycle.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product/Business teams for requirement clarity and issue resolution.
- Participate in daily standups and project discussions, providing clear QA updates.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare domain standards focusing on workflow accuracy, data integrity, and secure handling of sensitive information.
Must-Have Skills :
- 2+ years of strong experience in Manual Testing (healthcare/health-tech applications preferred).
- Hands-on experience in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) using real devices or emulators.
- Strong experience in testing web applications, admin dashboards, and report modules.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Ability to write effective test scenarios and test cases for both web and mobile.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, ProofHub, Trello, etc.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Experience testing healthcare or pet-care workflows.
- Awareness of data security and compliance concepts.
- Exposure to automation tools or concepts (Selenium/Java).
Soft Skills :
- Ownership mindset and proactive approach to quality.
- Ability to collaborate across development, QA, and product teams.
- Strong documentation and time-management skills.
- Adaptability to dynamic project needs.
