Role & Responsibilities :
Network Architecture & Implementation :
- Deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and access points with appropriate VLANs and SSIDS for secure and guest access.
Configuration & Troubleshooting :
- Configure and manage Extreme Networks Access Points.
- Troubleshoot VoIP phone connectivity issues, specifically resolving IP configuration acquisition problems.
- Upgrade Fortinet Switch Firmware across multiple locations.
Security & Cloud Integration :
- Implement and manage TACACS+ for switch security authentication.
- Develop and execute an implementation plan for SonicWall Virtual Firewalls in Azure.
Wireless & Redundancy Management :
- Configure and maintain redundant Cisco 3504 Wireless Controllers to ensure high availability.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
- Certifications (Preferred) : CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Extreme Networks Certification, or equivalent.
- Technical Expertise in :
1. Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall, Extreme Networks
2. VLANs, SSIDs, Routing & Switching
3. Wireless Controller Configuration & Redundancy
4. Firewall Deployment & Security Policies
