Description :
We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer with strong expertise in CPU-based and high-speed board designs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern SoC platforms and a solid understanding of signal integrity, thermal, and power performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop CPU-based hardware platforms (Qualcomm, NXP, MediaTek, Ambarella, etc.).
- Work on high-speed interface designs such as PCIe, DDR3/4, SATA, HDMI, USB 3.0, and MIPI.
- Perform BOM optimization and drive low-cost product design without compromising performance.
- Ensure mass-production (MP) readiness and handle validation of production hardware.
- Analyze and optimize thermal performance of devices.
- Collaborate with mechanical, RF, and software teams for end-to-end product design.
- Conduct SI/PI analysis for performance validation and optimization.
- (Optional but preferred) Work on camera-based, low-power, or battery-operated designs.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong experience in CPU-based board design.
- Proven hands-on expertise in high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, SATA, HDMI, USB, MIPI).
- Solid understanding of RF interfaces and thermal management.
- Exposure to production-oriented hardware design and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) principles.
- Experience in camera hardware and battery/low power systems is an added advantage.
Good to Have :
- Experience with schematic design tools (e.g., OrCAD, Altium, Allegro).
- Exposure to compliance testing and hardware validation.
- Knowledge of embedded system integration and firmware bring-up.
