Role Overview :

As a Hardware & Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our clients' IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, developers, and project managers, to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting complex network issues, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical IT systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, to meet client business needs.

- Configure and maintain network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, ensuring optimal performance and security.

- Troubleshoot network and system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.

- Administer Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance, to ensure system stability and security.

- Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs, to protect client networks and data.

- Monitor network performance and security, identifying potential issues and implementing proactive measures to prevent disruptions.

- Document network configurations and procedures, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for troubleshooting and maintenance.

- Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement and support new technologies and solutions.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

- Proven expertise in network administration, including configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

- Strong system administration skills, including experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts and technologies, including networking protocols, security principles, and virtualization.

- Ability to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements, considering performance, security, and scalability.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

- Holding a CCNP certification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
