Job Description :

- Networking Protocols : Excellent knowledge in L2 (vlan, lag), L3 (ospf, bgp), VxLAN, EVPN (All mandatory protocols).

- Programming & Frameworks : Python programming/coding, PyATS framework / Robot / Pytest. Ability to design Python scripts from scratch related to networking protocols and features.

- Traffic Generation : Working knowledge in using traffic generator tools - Spirent, IXIA, Trex.

- Communication & Debugging : Good communication, strong Debugging and troubleshooting abilities.

- Test Engineering : Test Bed creation, Debugging & troubleshooting (mandatory), test documentation

preparation.

About the Role :

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing network tests, troubleshooting complex network issues, and developing Python scripts to automate testing processes. This is a senior role that requires excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Python scripts to test networking protocols and features

- Create and manage test beds to simulate real-world network scenarios

- Troubleshoot and debug complex network issues using various tools and techniques

- Utilize traffic generator tools such as Spirent, IXIA, and Trex to simulate network traffic

- Prepare and maintain test documentation to ensure reproducibility and transparency

Required Skills :

- Excellent knowledge of L2 and L3 networking protocols, including vlan, lag, ospf, and bgp

- Strong programming skills in Python, including the ability to design scripts from scratch

- Experience with PyATS framework, Robot, and Pytest

- Working knowledge of traffic generator tools such as Spirent, IXIA, and Trex

- Good communication and strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities
