Happiest Minds Technologies - Senior Java Developer - Backend Architecture

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications and services. The candidate will work on scalable software solutions, APIs, integrations, and application enhancements while collaborating with architects, product teams, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java.

- Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following enterprise development standards.

- Implement business logic and backend services based on functional requirements.

- Develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, designing efficient data models and optimized SQL queries.

- Write unit, integration, and automated tests.

- Participate in peer code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Tech Stack :

- Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs.

- Microservices architecture, SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle), NoSQL databases.

- Git, CI/CD, Docker, Agile methodologies, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Required Skills :

- 7 - 11 years of experience in Java software development.

- Strong knowledge of multithreading, collections, exception handling, JVM concepts, and performance optimization.

- Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, OOP, and software engineering principles.
