Happiest Minds Technologies - Module Lead - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end to end data testing strategy and test completion plans.

- Set up data QA capability, including standards, benchmarks, and KPIs.

- Validate on-prem to Azure migration through source to target reconciliation.

- Automate data test cases using Fabric / Spark notebooks.

- Develop reusable frameworks for :

1. Data quality checks

2. Reconciliation & control totals

3. Regression testing

- Write advanced SQL for data validation and anomaly detection.

- Evaluate and recommend Azure native or third-party tools for:

1. Data testing

2. Automation

Required Skills & Experience :

- Monitoring & quality checks.

- Produce QA reports and support release / post-deployment validation.

- Work closely with data engineers and cloud teams in an agile setup.

- 9+ years of experience in data testing / data QA.

- Strong hands-on SQL skills for large datasets.

- Experience testing data warehouses / lakehouses.

- Hands-on experience with Azure data platforms, preferably Microsoft Fabric.

- Experience with on-prem to cloud data migration testing.

- Strong understanding of :

1. Test strategy & planning

2. Test case design

3. Automation & regression testing

4. Use of AI solutions like copilot as accelerators
