Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in SQL, SSIS, and SSRS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data solutions, with expertise in real-time ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling. Exposure to modern data platforms such as Power BI, Snowflake, and Kafka is highly desirable.

Required Skills :

- Expert-level proficiency in SQL (T-SQL), SSIS, and SSRS.

- Extensive experience in designing and managing ETL processes, including real-time data flows.

- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.

- Proven ability to model complex data relationships and structures.

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and ETL packages.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred/Good to Have :

- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and analytics.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform.

- Familiarity with Kafka for real-time data streaming and integration.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data architectures.

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

- Architect, implement, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS.

- Develop, deploy, and manage SSRS reports and dashboards to support business intelligence needs.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

- Implement and maintain data warehouse solutions, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.

- Architect, implement, and maintain real time data flow ETLs using SQL CDC and Kafka connectors.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data flows and ETL processes for reliability and efficiency.

- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership on data projects.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing data architecture.
