Job Description : Talend DI Lead

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 8-16 Years

Role Summary :

We are looking for a talented Talend DI Lead with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/Data Integration solutions using Talend Data Integration (Talend DI). The ideal candidate should possess strong data integration expertise, excellent SQL skills, and experience working with large-scale enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/Data Integration solutions using Talend Data Integration (Talend DI).

- Develop and maintain Talend Jobs, routines, contexts, and reusable components.

- Analyze source systems and business requirements to build efficient data integration workflows.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple heterogeneous data sources.

- Optimize Talend jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance, and production issues.

- Collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, mappings, and deployment procedures.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

- Support production deployments and ongoing maintenance activities.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Talend Data Integration (Talend DI).

- Strong experience in ETL/Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies.

Proficiency in developing Talend ETL jobs using components such as :

1. tMap

2. tJoin

3. tFilterRow

4. tAggregateRow

5. tFileInput/FileOutput

6. tDBInput/tDBOutput

7. tRESTClient

8. tJava and tJavaRow

- Strong SQL and database development skills.

- Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DB2.

- Knowledge of data migration, data transformation, and data validation techniques.

- Understanding of Talend Repository, Metadata Management, and Context Variables.

- Experience with file-based integrations including CSV, XML, JSON, and Excel.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Talend Administration Center (TAC).

- Exposure to Talend Cloud and Talend Data Fabric.

- Experience integrating APIs, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and third-party applications.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Exposure to Data Quality and Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.

- Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control tools.

- Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Notice Period :

- Immediate to 30 Days Preferred.
