About the Role :

We are looking for skilled Python Automation Engineers with strong functional testing expertise and hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks using Python. The ideal candidate should be proficient with open-source automation tools, test methodologies, and should be able to independently design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Python.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across applications.

- Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks (Keyword-driven, Data-driven, Hybrid, BDD/TDD).

- Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality coverage.

- Execute test cases, analyze results, and log defects using test management tools.

- Improve automation efficiency and ensure high-quality deliverables in each release cycle.

- Participate in review meetings and provide insights on product quality and test strategy.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong experience in Python programming for automation.

- Hands-on experience in Automation Testing and Functional Testing.

- Proficiency with open-source automation tools (mandatory).

- Experience in API testing and UI automation using relevant frameworks.

- Solid understanding of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.) and QA methodologies.

- Experience designing and working with automation frameworks.

Good-to-Have Skills :

Experience with open-source test frameworks such as :

- BDD (Behave, Lettuce)

- TDD

- Data-driven / Keyword-driven frameworks

- Hybrid frameworks

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- SQL/database validation skills.
