Job Description - Dotnet Azure Architect

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient microservices-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

The ideal candidate will engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solution designs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities :

- Architectural Design : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create scalable, robust solution designs that include data modeling, API design, infrastructure design, and application integration.

- Cloud First Approach : Design and implement cloud solutions utilizing Azure native resources, including PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and operations staff, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

- Security and Compliance : Ensure that solution designs are reviewed and approved by the Enterprise Architecture Team and InfoSec team, meeting compliance requirement standards.

- Technical Leadership : Act as the Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) during requirements gathering, issue triaging meetings, and evaluations of third-party software.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in implementing microservices-based solutions.

- Expertise in Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, API Management, and Application Gateways.

- Good understanding of OWASP vulnerabilities and their remediation.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles, containerization (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes), and WEB API design.

- Strong understanding of data architecture, Data Modelling, data management, and data integration patterns and challenges.

- Experience with scalable data platforms and solutions that integrate and standardize data from various enterprise applications.

Preferred Skills :

- One or more certifications as a Solution Architect in leading cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

- Experience working with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) customers, understanding their unique requirements and challenges.

- Familiarity with the TOGAF ADM Cycle and its application in enterprise architecture.

Additional Information : The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Azure as a deal breaker skill and will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.

This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
