Happiest Minds - Enterprise Test Architect - Playwright & AI Automation

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Test Architect to lead the Test Architecture and Quality Engineering function across large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright, Test Automation Framework Design, Enterprise Quality Engineering, and AI-driven Test Automation strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own the Enterprise Test Strategy and Quality Engineering roadmap.

- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and modern automation tools.

- Lead automation transformation initiatives across multiple enterprise programs.

- Architect test solutions for Web, API, Microservices, Cloud, and Event-Driven applications.

- Drive AI-powered test automation initiatives using modern AI/GenAI tools.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality.

- Establish standards, frameworks, governance, metrics, and best practices across projects.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Security, and Business teams.

- Review solution architecture and ensure testing strategies align with enterprise requirements.

- Mentor Test Leads, Architects, and Automation Engineers.

- Manage stakeholder communications and provide quality insights to leadership teams.

Tech Stack :

- Automation: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, API Automation

- API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI

- Programming: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#

- Enterprise Architecture: Microservices, Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Architecture, API Architecture

- DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps

- Databases: SQL, Database Testing

Requirements :

- 18+ years of overall experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.

- Minimum 8+ years in Test Architecture roles.

- Exposure to Warehouse & Fulfilment Operations Domain.

- Strong Stakeholder Management and Enterprise Program Experience.

- Hands-on experience driving AI-led Automation initiatives.

Preferred Skills :

- Agentic AI, GenAI in Quality Engineering, AI-Based Test Optimization, Agile/Scrum, Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS), Performance Testing, Security Testing.
