About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Enterprise Architect to lead the architectural strategy and technical direction of our healthcare product suite. This role is ideal for a senior technologist who has 20+ years of experience in software and systems architecture, with a deep focus on healthcare technologies, regulatory frameworks, and product development lifecycles.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader capable of aligning technology initiatives with business goals, driving innovation, and enabling scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for a rapidly evolving healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architectural Leadership : Define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy across the organization, with a focus on building and scaling healthcare software products.

- Strategic Planning : Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, and engineering teams to translate business goals into technology strategies.

- Technology Oversight : Evaluate, recommend, and implement modern technologies, frameworks, and platforms that align with long-term product and business vision.

- Healthcare Expertise : Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations such as HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, HITECH, FDA, and other regional compliance needs.

- Systems Integration : Design robust integration strategies for EHR/EMR systems, third-party APIs, and data platforms to ensure seamless interoperability.

- Governance & Best Practices : Establish enterprise-wide architecture standards, design patterns, and governance processes.

- Mentorship : Guide and mentor solution architects, domain architects, and technical leads across multiple teams.

- Innovation & Research : Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in healthcare IT, data science, cloud computing, and security.

Key Qualifications :

- 20+ years of experience in enterprise and/or solution architecture, with significant time spent building scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare products.

- Proven experience working in healthcare IT, including exposure to clinical systems, payer systems, patient engagement platforms, or health analytics.

- Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM, CDA).

- Expertise in modern architecture paradigms including microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first design, and cloud-native platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong knowledge of data privacy, security frameworks, and regulatory compliance specific to healthcare.

- Proven leadership in designing enterprise systems that operate at scale with high availability, performance, and resilience.

- Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience in a Chief Architect, Director of Architecture, or similar leadership role.

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Experience with AI/ML in healthcare, population health, digital therapeutics, or value-based care solutions is a plus.
