Responsibilities :


- This position will be responsible for working with Halma companies to understand and document company requirements.


- Facilitates user acceptance testing with end-user teams and performs testing were applicable.

- Works with people platform BAU to determine best-fit solution and deliver solutions in-line with customer expectations.

- Is an active member of the people platform implementation team, acting as support for project related analysis, documentation and communication.

- Creates training documentation for people platform users to close knowledge gaps.

- Will work to troubleshoot and resolve defects in Workday in accordance with internal release schedule and service level agreements.

- Determines root cause and works with People Platform team to develop recommendation for process improvement.

- Use a case management system to triage defects or requests for change.

- Would be responsible for configuration changes, on-going management and updates to Halmas people platform.

- Ensures system documentation is up to date and accurate.

- Act as a member of the change control committee.

- Will ensure changes are properly logged with documentation that fully describes the request.

- Adheres to all change board policies and procedures.

- Support Workday twice yearly release management process including new feature review, testing and education.

- Will work to integrate acquired companies onto Halmas people platform and play a role in improving the integration tools and processes, ensuring they are repeatable and optimized.

- Stays up to date with platform functionality through continuous learning.

- Strong presentation and communication skills.

- Has a knack for making the complex simple when explaining technical concepts.

- Must have knowledge transfer mindset.

- Support Halmas Digital Growth Engine enabler by delivering quality technology solutions to meet the

critical business needs of our companies.

- Be an active member of the Global Talent & Culture team and be engaged in our local Halma Hub meetings and talent updates.

Core Technical Skills :


- Workday HCM Configuration : Core HCM, Business Process Framework, Security Groups & Roles, Organization Setup.


- Workday Reporting : Advanced Reports, Calculated Fields, Custom Reports, Worklets, and Dashboards.


- Data Management : EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), data loads, data validations, mass uploads/updates.


- Integrations : Workday Studio (preferred), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Document Transformation, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and PICOF/PICOF.


- Testing Tools : Regression testing, UAT scripting, release testing, defect management.


- Case Management : Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or other ticketing systems for defect/issue handling.


- Change Control : Exposure to formal change control processes and documentation best practices.


- Release Management : Experience with Workdays bi-annual release cycles including feature testing, impact assessment, and communication.


- Soft Skills : Problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, stakeholder communication.


Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Experience :


- 4+ years relevant experience in workday.
