About the role :

This is a critical role to operationalize, stabilize and improve the Master Data Management strategy of the organization with a high visibility across business units.

The responsibilities of a Senior Technical Manager - MDM are to be accountable for enterprise service operations of the Master Data Management (STIBO MDM) and closely collaborate with MDM Product
leadership to ensure end-to-end operationalization and post implementation support for enterprise data products that represent two key pillars of STIBO MDM (Experts and Products) and execute the Data Strategy around MDM. The role will report into the Head of Data Platform Operations.

The Senior Technical Manager - MDM will be accountable for ensuring timely operational readiness to support statutory and regulatory reporting operations which are critical to the enterprise. The role will ensure that the Governance, Risk, Compliance and Data Lifecycle objectives of the organization are met.

The Senior Technical Manager - MDM will play a key role in monitoring and executing day to-day operations of STIBO MDM mainly revolving around Products and Experts domains. She Will lead Mid/Large Sized Operations team. Will use creativity and innovation to develop solutions to complex problems, ensuring solutions are consistent with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technically lead and supporting a MDM implementation as well as on-going support/operations activities.

- Contribute to the design and develop the architecture for a robust MDM platform that matches and consolidates key data subject areas in a manner that is aligned to the companys strategic vision.

- Implement measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of an MDM platform.

- Implement requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivor ship criteria and data stewardship workflows that can be deployed in the endorsed MDM tool

- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture teams (data integration, data architecture, business intelligence) to develop and deliver MDM solutions and work with Architecture Review Board and Data Governance Approval Board for technical reviews and approvals through the system development life-cycle

- Provides leadership, technical direction and expertise to the MDM team composed FTEs, strategic partners, and software vendors.

- Directly contribute in a hands-on way to MDM Platform Configuration and development with the Stibo product.

- Identify and drive opportunities to reuse Stibo platform to drive more robust Master Data Management

- Ensure all risk and issues associated with owned programmes and projects are recorded and managed in the appropriate Risk & Issue logs in a timely manner and according to programme standards & escalate and remove blocks to progress in a large matrix organisation and with senior stakeholders.

- Manage agency workers and ensure the right level of capability is engaged to ensure the success of the project. Able to manage and motivate direct reports who may be globally located.

- Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 10+ years of successful experience as a MDM or Data Analyst in Data focused products and proven history working on and delivering complex projects in an Analytics environment space

- The ideal candidate would be highly experienced in developing and supporting Master data management solutions.

- Experience with the Stibo platform is critical.

- The Senior MDM Technical Specialist will join a strong technical team in a technically demanding area of Tech and so the ideal candidate should be a hands on individual that possess a strong background in technology and is familiar with Agile and DevOps processes.

- The candidate is required to have good communication skills and the ability to work across multiple global markets.

Preferred Skills :

- Complex distributed system problem solving

- Strong Communication skills to interact with fellow directors and VPs in both the business and tech teams.

- Extensive experience with Stibo

- Experience defining business requirements and business rules.

- Experience in the Product data domain and customer data domain with respect to third party customer data sources and match/merge rules.
