Hackett Group - Senior Consultant/Team Lead - Oracle FDMEE/ODI

We are seeking an experienced ODI / PL/SQL / FDMEE Developer to support and maintain an on-premise Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Data Relationship Management (DRM) environment for a global US-based client. The ideal candidate will work offshore from India and collaborate closely with onshore teams to ensure seamless data integration, financial data loading, metadata management, and system stability. The candidate will be an individual contributor with the ability to interact with a global support team of functional/technical experts on day-to-day production support, enhancements, upgrades testing, issue resolution.

Responsibilities :

Support and Maintenance include :

- Provide production support and maintenance for on-premises HFM and DRM systems.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data loads, metadata updates, and integrations.

- Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions for recurring issues.

In case of enhancements and development the responsibilities will include :

- Design, develop, and maintain ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) interfaces, mappings, and packages to automate data flows between ERP systems, FDMEE, HFM, and other data sources.

- Write and optimize PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and functions for data processing, validation, and reporting.

- Manage FDMEE workflows for financial data loading and mapping between source systems and HFM.

System Enhancements :

- Support application upgrades, patching, and migrations.

- Participate in performance tuning, system optimization, and process automation initiatives.

- Collaborate with functional finance teams to implement new business requirements.

Essential Skills :

Job :

- 6+ years of relevant experience in Oracle Hyperion (HFM / DRM Support)

- Strong hands-on experience with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) development, debugging, and optimization.

- Oracle PL/SQL complex query writing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

- FDMEE (Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition) data load automation, mapping, and scripting.

- Working knowledge of HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) and DRM (Data Relationship Management).

- Experience supporting on-premise EPM environments.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix scripting and batch scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and effective & efficient communication skills.

- Must be able to work independently to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to their occurrence.

- Strong skills across MS word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office and other collaboration and unified communication tools.

- Candidate must be willing to work in India time zone with overlap for US business hours as needed for support and coordination.

Preferred Skills :

Job :

- ODI / PLSQL / FDMEE skills to maintain an on-premise HFM / DRM system for a global client.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Oracle EPM Cloud (HFM or DRM migration projects).

- Understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes.

- Experience with Essbase, Smart View, or EPM Automate tools.
