Job Description:

Role: Guidewire Rating Developer

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain rating engines in Guidewire Rating.

- Implement ratebooks, rating routines, and parameter sets in Guidewire to support policy rating functionality.

- Ensure the integration of the Guidewire Rating Engine with other modules such as Product Designer, PCF's, and other data models.

- Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable solutions.

- Work with Cost Data models and ensure their accurate implementation in the rating engine.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to continuous improvement.

- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure high-quality and defect-free ratings functionality.

- Review and update the Product Designer and PCF's as needed, ensuring the alignment with the rating functionality.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design, implementation, and configuration documentation.

- Assist in troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and providing solutions.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong knowledge of insurance products and processes, specifically P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance.

- Proficiency in Guidewire Rating Engine, including working with Ratebooks, Routines, Tables, and Parameter Sets.

- Solid understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles and their application in Guidewire development.

- Experience with Guidewire Rating Engine development for Product Designer and PCF's.

- Familiarity with Data Models, including Cost Data and their integration with the rating engine.

- Ability to develop and work with custom business rules and implement them in the rating engine.
