Job Description :

We are hiring a highly skilled Guidewire Portal Developer with strong expertise in customer-facing insurance portals, digital platforms, and frontend integrations within Guidewire ecosystems.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable digital portals integrated with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter applications.

This role requires strong technical expertise in frontend development, API integrations, responsive UI design, and digital customer experience solutions for insurance platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for building modern, secure, and user-friendly portals for customers, brokers, agents, and internal business users while ensuring seamless integration with Guidewire systems and enterprise applications.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, UX teams, architects, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver enterprise-grade digital insurance solutions aligned with business goals and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop customer, broker, and agent portals integrated with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter applications.

- Develop responsive frontend components and reusable UI modules using modern frontend technologies and frameworks.

- Build and maintain REST API integrations with Guidewire applications and third-party enterprise systems.

- Collaborate with UX designers, product teams, backend developers, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive and scalable digital insurance experiences.

- Develop customer self-service workflows including policy management, claims tracking, premium payments, endorsements, renewals, and account management functionalities.

- Support portal modernization initiatives, digital transformation programs, cloud migration projects, and enhancement activities.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and user experience across portal applications.

- Troubleshoot production issues, debug frontend and integration-related defects, and support ongoing portal enhancements and releases.

- Participate in technical design discussions, sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture review sessions.

- Ensure adherence to frontend development standards, security best practices, responsive design principles, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams during deployment, release management, and cloud implementation activities.

- Contribute to technical documentation, integration design documents, and development best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Guidewire Portal Development and Digital Insurance Platforms.

- Expertise in React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks.

- Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly portal applications.

- Strong experience with REST APIs, Guidewire Digital integrations, and enterprise integration frameworks.

- Knowledge of insurance customer journeys, digital servicing workflows, and policy administration systems.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical capabilities.

- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have Skills :

- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).

- Experience with authentication frameworks, SSO, OAuth, JWT, and identity management integrations.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and frontend performance optimization.

- Understanding of accessibility standards and secure frontend development practices.

- Exposure to Insurance Domain, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter workflows will be an added advantage.
