Job Summary :

We are looking for a Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Rating Developer with hands-on experience in Guidewire Rating Engine, Product Model, and PolicyCenter configuration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining rating logic, pricing rules, and integrations related to PolicyCenter.

The role demands expertise in Gosu programming, Guidewire configuration, and PolicyCenter Rating Management, along with a valid Guidewire Certification.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and implement rating algorithms, models, and rate tables in Guidewire PolicyCenter.

- Develop and enhance rating worksheets, modifiers, and pricing logic using Gosu and Guidewire Product Model.

- Collaborate with business analysts to translate rating requirements into configurable PolicyCenter solutions.

- Customize PolicyCenter Rating Engine and integrate with external rating or policy administration systems.

- Perform unit testing and regression testing of rating changes to ensure accuracy.

- Document rating configurations, ratebooks, and maintain change history.

- Ensure compliance with Guidewire best practices and version upgrade standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC).

- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Rating Engine and Product Model configuration.

- Proficient in Gosu programming and Guidewire XML configuration.

- Knowledge of PolicyCenter business rules, underwriting rules, and policy transactions (New, Renewal, Rewrite, etc.).

- Experience with Guidewire Integration layer (GOSU APIs, Plugins, Messaging).

- Strong understanding of PolicyCenter data model and policy lifecycle.

- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud deployment and upgrade process is a plus.

- Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins / Azure DevOps).

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Certification

- Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating Specialist Certification

- Bonus : Guidewire Cloud Certified

Nice to Have :

- Experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Familiarity with Guidewire BillingCenter / ClaimCenter for end-to-end integrations

- Exposure to insurance domain rating concepts (LOBs like Auto, Home, Commercial, etc.)

- Certification : Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration / Rating Certified
