Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Rating & Configuration Developer to design, configure, and implement solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter for large-scale insurance transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Rating Engine, Product Model, and PolicyCenter Configuration, along with hands-on Gosu programming skills and an in-depth understanding of the Guidewire data model.

Key Responsibilities :

Rating Development :

- Design and implement Rating Models, Rate Books, Rate Tables, and Modifiers.

- Develop and maintain Rating Worksheets and Pricing Logic using Gosu and Product Model configuration.

- Ensure accurate rate calculations and integration with external rating systems (if applicable).

- Work with business teams to analyze rating requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation projects.

- Strong expertise in Guidewire Rating Engine and Product Model Configuration.

- Solid hands-on experience in Gosu, PCF, Data Model, and Business Rules.

- In-depth understanding of PolicyCenter job lifecycle and policy transactions.

- Experience working on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred.

- Familiarity with integration points (SOAP/REST, messaging, plugins).

- Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and Git-based version control.

- Exposure to Agile methodology and Insurance domain knowledge (Commercial/Personal lines).

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Certification

- Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating Specialist Certification

- Bonus : Guidewire Cloud Certified Associate

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

- Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders

- Ability to document and translate business rules into technical designs

- Team player with proactive learning attitude

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of Guidewire DataHub / InfoCenter

- Familiarity with BillingCenter / ClaimCenter for end-to-end integration

- Basic understanding of Insurance product design and rate filing
